Hi, I'm Alex, a one year old yellow lab mix. I weigh 52 pounds. I was adopted twice. Can you believe that I was returned! My brother in my first home didn't like me and my parents liked him better--so off I went to Animal Control. I was adopted again. This time, my parents discovered that I had heart worms ( I guess somewhere along the lines, I wasn't taken care of very well) and they didn't want to pay to have me treated, so off I went again to Animal Control. some very nice officers and "Friends of Animal Control" chipped in to pay for my treatment. They also called Rainbow Animal Rescue to see if they could save me-and they did. So I am in foster care while I am finishing my heart worm treatment. I seem to like my foster's dogs.Pleaseeeeeeeee won't someone love me and give me a forever home? Oh, by the way-I'm going to be neutered in Sept.and I am up to date on all of my shots and will be ready to go home ias soon as I am neutered.
